Among the most improvments in our new set-up would be the following :
– Use of two 6000W Laser cutting Bystronic machines.
- Automatic loading and un-loading of material and components.
- Lights out operation possible (lower price per component as result)
- The high power feature offers great improvement in cutting speed and hence component cost of majority of materials
- Increased cutting thickens of cut material up to 25mm in carbon steel (dependent on material quality) and reliable 20mm cutting of mild steel and Stainless Steel components.
- A greener approach through the acquiring of this new technology which provides a greater number of cut components per KWatt /Hour of electricity consumed compared with the previous models.
- New cutting head improvements, which contribute to reducing the gas consumption of Oxygen and Nitrogen required to laser cut the components.
- We also offer a revolutionary web interface, which our clients can use and fully track their component history, including live data of the production process, pricing history and invoice and delivery dockets history.
- We are in the process of commissioning a new concept automated storage system for sheet metal. This will allow a drastic reducing off-cut and waste material and also improving the productivity of our operation due to the time required in locating and accessing raw materials. This is a substantial investment on our part, but which will enable us to store up to 140 Tonnes of material on a footprint of 2m x 9m. This is a CamTowers product.
